Every Inspector Comes From A Construction Trade Background.
It is a proven fact that you can only learn so much from a classroom. Working in the building trades requires hands-on training, and even though there are technical school certificates for most of the home-building jobs out there, most of what a contractor learns, they learn on the job actually doing the work! The same can be said for home inspectors, in our opinion...
To really understand on a fundamental level what is going on with the systems and components of a home, we believe you need to have actually put your hands on what you are inspecting. It brings a whole new depth to the inspection process and inspectors who have had previous construction trade experience tend to find defects that others will miss.
At Integrity Inspections, it is a prerequisite that all of our inspectors come from a trade background. Currently we have inspectors that have worked in the four major building trades that make up the most critical systems of a home: Roof, Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing. We are a one-stop shop for all of your in-depth inspection needs!
Regardless of the inspector that you receive for your home inspection, and the background that particular inspector has, rest assured that they are all trained to the InterNACHI standards-of-practice to bring any issue to light that they find on the home. If during the course of your inspection, there is a question that arises about a particular defect that was observed that requires more in-depth expertise, we have the knowledge in-house to come to a definitive conclusion on how serious the defect may be. That is why we take so many more pictures than most home inspectors. We will often send images to the other inspectors to get their take on the situation before we make our final report, just to make sure you are getting the most accurate information possible at the end of the day.
